What is MemTrax?
MemTrax is a scientifically validated memory screening test for the detection of learning and short-term memory issues, particularly the type of memory problems that arise with aging, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), dementia and Alzheimer's disease. It is not a specific Alzheimer test, however, but it can detect memory dysfunctions that are regularly seen in patients with Alzheimer's disease.
How is MemTrax Unique?
- It is scientifically developed over 10 years for highly accurate results.
- It is free.
- It is quick and easy to take (just 1 to 4 minutes).
- You receive immediate results upon completion of the test..
- It is completely confidential. You can take the test anonymously.
Why Take a Memory Screening Test?
The MemTrax memory screening test is designed to test learning and short-term memory, specifically, the type of memory lost in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Therefore, MemTrax is sensitive enough to detect the earliest onset of Alzheimer-related memory loss and doing something about it EARLY, when existing treatment options are most effective.
Who Should Take the Test?
The earlier that memory decline, Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), dementia and Alzheimer’s disease are detected the more can be done to increase the odds of slowing the progression of the condition.
If your patients are under 60 years of age, you should consider taking a baseline memory screening test with a repeat test every 12 months.
If your patients are age 60 or older, you should consider taking a baseline memory screening test and a repeat test every 3-6 months.
